Why partner with Key Foundations Program?

We feel as though the Key Foundations Program offers a unique opportunity for both of our organizations to flourish while providing an affordable solution with proven programs, accessible for everyone.

A myriad of factors such as the pandemic, social/political unrest, and economic turmoil have brought about levels of anxiety and depression across our country at unprecedented levels.

These issues have led to a record number of people seeking out counseling and other means to return to some level of normalcy. The result? The average waiting time for a counseling session is 3 to 4 months. In addition, a growing number of families can’t afford even the most basic of health or life insurance policies.

These issues are why we are excited to partner with Key Foundations Program. We appreciate and understand the value they provide while also giving back to our community.

Substance Use and Military Life Drug Facts

Excerpt:

It is estimated that between 37% – 50% of Afghanistan and Iraq War veterans have been diagnosed with a mental disorder. These conditions are strongly associated with substance use disorders (SUDs), as are other problems experienced by returning military personnel, including reintegration stresses, sleep disturbances, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and violence in relationships. Onset of SUDs can also emerge secondary to other mental health problems associated with these stressors, such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and depression.
